Emotional Realignment: Getting in Charge of Your Life
Session Length: 60 Minutes
What if your emotions weren’t obstacles, but powerful tools for growth?
In this 60-minute session, you’ll learn the Realigning with Emotions framework to know what emotions are, why we have them, and what’s they are intended to do for us in our “Earth as Giant School.” We’ll look at loneliness, demonstrating how to relieve feelings of loneliness, why they occur, and what is the “message” of loneliness.
Leave with a simple but powerful understanding of how all emotions work, including a single exercise that can help you relieve the impact of any emotion you encounter. Once you know how to work with emotions, you can more easily boost your performance, strengthen relationships, and take charge of your life with clarity and confidence.
Class Intention
This class introduces participants to the Realigning with Emotions framework, integrating the concept of “The Earth as a Giant School” to explore how emotional challenges can be understood and resolved.
Through guided learning, practical exercises, and real-life examples, participants will begin mastering emotions like loneliness, developing tools to transform these feelings into growth and empowerment.
This is for you if…
• You feel at the mercy of certain emotions, having them show up in your life, especially in those times when you don’t want them!
• You want to know how to use the message of at least 3 emotions most people encounter every day, allowing yourself to learn and move on to other things.
• You notice emotions interfering with your athletic performance—during practice or games—affecting your focus, flow, or results. Develop your system for getting in charge!
• You want to develop understanding and tools that really work to put you in charge of emotions, on a lasting basis, allowing you to develop personal empowerment in your life
Description
After more than 50 years of studying emotions and how we interact with them, I’ve found that much of what we’ve been taught either doesn’t work—or works against us.
Emotions are with us from birth to death, and when we understand what they are, what they’re for, and how to work with them, life becomes much smoother.
For all of us, worry, tension, and anxiety—on the job or at home, can affect your performance, your relationships with co-workers and family, your vulnerability, and ultimately your success. You’re not expected to have all the tools you need to shift these challenges in your favor.
That’s why this series offers the knowledge, skills, and support to:
• Understand how emotions function in life and performance.
• Learn proven approaches to resolving even long-standing or repeating problems.
• Gain practical tools to apply immediately in your sport, relationships, and everyday life.
This is your opportunity to take charge of emotions so they support—not sabotage—your growth, success, and well-being.
